The model was constructed by extracting the DNA chains from a crystal structure of 434 cro bound to OR1 DNA (pdb ID 3cro - Mondragon and Harrison, 1991) and combining them with DNA chains of the same sequence constructed in normal B-conformation with HyperChem molecular modeling software.
