"New beginnings"
My first regular position on campus was in the President's Office. Everyone in this office was new to their office. Luther Luedtke was President, Elena Eskey was the assistant to the president, Jeanne Maxfield was the administrative assistant and I was the part-time secretary. We were left with files and paperwork to go through with no direction. We all just bonded and laughed as we worked long and hard to get the office in order and develop new procedures. It was a great experience for me to work in this office with these wonderful people. They loved their jobs and provided a high level of service to others. I learned much from them.
