"Memories of CLU"
In 1967, my father took our family to the Rose Bowl. It was the year that Indiana played USC and O.J. Simpson was a senior. USC won. My father had heard about a Lutheran school where the Dallas Cowboys held their training camp. We made the long drive from Pasadena to the campus and found it (such as it was). I remember a picnic under the trees by the library. My second trip to CLU was last winter for my interview.
Tom tried something new- a business class. He liked it and did well.
Don’t knock a postcard. It’s how I first heard about CLU.
If I get this job, I am going to take it. I can work with Lutherans.
The CLU community opened my awareness, embraced my talents and gave needed meaning to my life.
