"Welcomed in"
I began to work at CLU's University Advancement Dept. almost a year ago. I was feverishly searching for a full-time job since my current employer (a pool building company) could no longer afford to keep me during the recession. Thankfully, I was hired after my interview; which was a long-awaited opportunity in itself (with the rejection letter followed by a phone call and an email informing me that I was a "finalist" for the job opening).
I felt immediately welcomed here at CLU. Everyone that I spoke with and emailed already knew of my arrival and were very friendly towards me and each other. At my "new-hire" orientation I was filled with enthusiasm and comfort knowing that CLU was pleased to have all of us here...to stay.
Since last July, I have enrolled my daughter at CLU Preschool and completed my first ADEP class.
