James Valadez, Ph.D.
Professor of Education
James Valadez's recent research focuses on using the National Assessment of Educational Progress data base to examine the status of science education in the U.S. He has also published studies investigating the social, cultural and economic factors that influence the educational decision-making of immigrant Latino students.
Dr. Valadez is a member of the Educational Leadership faculty and teaches Research Methods in the doctoral program. He also directs the K-12 doctoral program.
