Carol Coman, M.S.
Associate Professor of Business Administration, School of Management Director of Assessment
The focus of Professor Coman's continuing research has been on assessment. Her work has resulted in publication of her writing on assessment. She is often asked to and does present results of her research and work at national and international conferences. She teaches courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Until recently, she has been faculty adviser for the CLU Accounting Association for over 20 year.
In addition to on-campus courses, Professor Coman leads International Business Seminars (IBS) which involve students in travel throughout Western Europe and visits to business entities during the course. The travel course is a "for-credit" experience during which high-level executives from organizations (examples are John Deere, PwC, Lloyds of London, BMW) provide lectures, tours and course materials to enhance the educational value.
Professor Coman is actively involved in the Internation Center for Academic Integrity. Fostering a culture of honor and integrity on campus is her passion.
Outside of her work at CLU, Carol Coman is a management consultant, specializing in financial and tax matters.
