Maureen Lorimer, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Education
As a faculty member since 2009, Dr. Lorimer currently teaches methods courses in the teacher credential program and educational research courses in the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership Program. Deeply rooted within her teaching, scholarship, and service is one overarching goal: to promote effective learning and social equity in an inclusive environment, thereby ensuring educational excellence for every learner. Arts education is central to this work. Through research, publications, presentations, and community service, she is dedicated to uncovering and sharing knowledge about the visual and performing arts as an influential factor in effective learning and teaching and a catalyst for change.
