Ø Honors Convocation TODAY, Mon., Apr. 23, 10am, Samuelson Chapel. We will be on Convocation Schedule with classes ending at 9:45am and resuming at 11:15am. Regalia will NOT be worn and faculty will not be processing. Faculty are free to sit wherever they choose, there will not be a reserved faculty seating section.

Ø A Panel Discussion, Hope for Everyone: Faith and Criminal Justice, will be presented Mon., Apr. 23, 7-9:30pm, in Lundring. In March 2012, the ELCA released a draft social statement on criminal justice. Join a panel of experts from the fields of criminal justice, religion and ministry to discuss the development of the ELCA’s social policy and teaching on this issue. Admission is free. Ø The CLU Creative Arts Division presents Jekyll & Hyde, the Musical, at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays from April 20 through 29 in the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre. - A brief discussion took place at the faculty meeting last week regarding the organizational structure for the MPPA program and Graduate Psychology. A summary of the comments can be found on the Blackboard Faculty Governance page. Please provide any feedback on this topic to Leanne Neilson by May 15. Also let Leanne know if you have interest in forming a committee to further discuss this topic.
