Dr. Bruce Gillies joins the ADEP staff after a varied career in Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private industry. Bruce has extensive experience as a university professor, administrator, and leader. He has also served in the U.S. navy and retired after 21 years. Bruce holds a Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and has been teaching at CLU since February of 2004. He has also worked and taught at Webster University, Park University, United States International University, Crichton College, University of Laverne, and Central Texas College. He has lived in a variety of countries including Venezuela, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, and Bahrain.

In addition to directing the Adult Degree Evening Program, Bruce teaches Business Statistics, Business Ethics, Organizational Development, and Organization Theory courses in the MBA, ADEP, and undergraduate business programs.


Our Academic Advisors


Darla Arcuri is one of two advisors for the program. To name just a few of her many roles, Darla also coordinates all phases of the schedule, room assignments, CLEP exams and student leave of absences. She has worked in the ADEP office since 1993. Her favorite hobby is that of grandmother to her two granddaughters.

Gretchen Lopez is a CLU graduate and has worked at CLU since 2005. In addition to advising students, she also processes grad checks and coordinates multiple phases for the ADEP commencement each year. When she is not busy with work and school, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
