Minor in Ethnic Studies
A minor in ethnic studies offers an opportunity for students to focus academic work on the diversity of cultures and traditions that are reflected in the United States. Ethnic studies is an interdisciplinary curriculum that examines the role of ethnicity in American culture, history and institutions.
The program encompasses traditional disciplines involving the humanities and social sciences. An ethnic studies minor complements any major and provides knowledge and perspective that is beneficial in an increasingly diverse society.
