Eventbrite - Admitted Student Day

Have you been admitted to Cal Lutheran? Congrats! Admitted Student Day is the ultimate opportunity for you to visit campus and create a customized experience to help you discover Cal Lutheran.

Following the energizing kick-off of our Welcome Session, you get to choose among an array of session topics that meet your interests. After that, head on over to the Academic and Involvement Fairs where you can personally interact with Cal Lutheran students, faculty, and staff while taking a moment to grab lunch.

We hope you and your family will follow join us on Saturday, April 13.

 

Already signed up for Admitted Student Day? Check out the notes and schedule below to help make your Admitted Student Day experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Check-in
To help expedite your check in process, please bring a printed copy of the ticket you received from Eventbrite when you registered. For your convenience, an additional copy of your ticket will be sent to your email again on Thursday, April 11. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive the ticket.

Attire
Admitted Student Day is designed to give you as much exposure to Cal Lutheran as possible. In addition to walking between sessions, there will be optional tours of the campus and residence halls. We suggest that you dress comfortably and wear walking shoes. Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission prior to the event if you may require any mobility assistance. Layers are often a good rule of thumb, as mornings can be chilly.

Lunch
Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Each student will receive a complimentary meal ticket, along with up to two additional meal tickets for guests. Additional meal tickets can be purchased at the information tent for $5 each. (Please bring exact change).

Location
Cal Lutheran is located at 60 West Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91360. This is the address to enter when using a GPS device or online mapping tool.

Parking
Parking is open to all visitors in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center Lot at the entrance on Campus Drive off of Olsen Road; and the Administration Parking Lot that can be accessed from Mount Clef Blvd, also off of Olsen Road. Staff and signage will help direct you.

Optional Sessions:

Be Smart. Be Fit.: Intercollegiate athletics, club sports, intramurals, outdoor adventurers—we have them all! Come learn about the active side of life at CLU and how to balance that with the various aspects of life as a CLU student.

Living On Campus: Filling out housing contracts, deciding which hall is best for you, and everything that goes into living on campus can be confusing. During this session you will be able to speak with Residence Life professionals about all of your housing needs and questions. We will also talk about living on campus and all of the new and fun experiences you will have!

Financial Aid Information Session

Funding your college education can be a daunting endeavor. Getting the information you need to know about how financial aid is awarded at CLU can help you start off on the right foot. Learn about what resources are available and payment options to fit your budget. Financial aid officers will be on hand for any specific questions you may have following the presentation.
