Computer Information Systems

Offered as a major (B.S.) and a minor

Know your network.

Computer Information Systems (CIS) is a rapid-growth, high-demand area combining studies in computer science and business management.

The major has been designed to meet the demand for graduates with knowledge of information systems and their application to business environments.

The Curriculum

Information systems do not exist for their own sake. They provide critical support and services for businesses, governments, and other entities. This is why along with an emphasis on computer applications in software, hardware, and programming, you will receive a strong business and liberal arts education. Throughout your courses, you will discover new ways to use interconnected technologies to support the larger goals of those who rely on them.
