Telios
The 2008 Telios Program has reached capacity!
August 24 through August 29, 2008
California Lutheran University Student Life would like to take the opportunity to invite you to participate in Telios, our Outdoor Orientation and Leadership program for incoming freshmen students. We are excited about you participating in the program and learning about what it takes to be a leader on our campus.
Our goal with this program is to invite incoming freshmen to come together and have an experience learning about themselves in the wilderness of Yosemite National Park. We chose this format because we believe in the connection between challenging oneself physically and progressing oneself holistically and we want to be a part of developing students at our university.
Telios will take place one week prior to the 2008 new student orientation. As a participant you will be allowed to move into your housing assignment at CLU the Saturday before orientation, and then on Sunday we will leave the comforts of Thousand Oaks, CA and head north to Yosemite National Park for a week of hiking, rock climbing, and other adventures.
The 2008 program has reached capacity. The cost for this program is $300 which includes your food while you are in Yosemite as well as transportation to and from the site.
If you are interested and have any further questions please use the contact information below. Thank you for your time and consideration. We are looking forward to your anticipated interest as well as possible participation.
Best wishes,
