Program Description
The California Lutheran University Ambassadors Circle has been established to serve CLU by providing a connection between the University and our community of friends and supporters. Through their pride, enthusiasm and firsthand knowledge of our University, the students of the Ambassadors Circle can promote a positive image of CLU, deepening our relationships or creating new relationships with individuals locally and regionally.
Members of the Ambassadors Circle are junior or senior student scholar and leader volunteers who work directly with the University's Advancement Division. They attend many special events, both on and off campus, where they meet and interact with CLU donors, donor prospects and other VIPs.
Events may include, but are not limited to:
Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series
Kingsmen Football Tailgates
Community Leaders Association Auction
Annual Fund Holiday Concert Reception
CLU Athletics Hall of Fame Awards Dinner
Responsibilities
- Positively represent the CLU student body to alumni, donors, donor prospects, and other VIPs at special events on and off campus
- Assist in the coordination of Backpack to Briefcase, a student-alumni networking event held each spring
- Assist in the recruitment of future Student Ambassadors

- In junior or senior level standing
Application Process
The deadline to apply to be a Student Ambassador for 2009-2010 has passed. Applications for 2010 - 2011 school year will be available in February 2010.
