Alumni Awards
he CLU Alumni Board of Directors Awards Program recognizes the outstanding achievements of California Lutheran University alumni. Nominations for awards in the five categories listed below are welcomed from all members and friends of the CLU community.

Honorary
This recognition may be awarded to an individual who has rendered a special and outstanding service to California Lutheran University, or who by his/her personal achievement has brought honor and distinction to the University. This individual demonstrates achievement in service to CLU and has received recognition from outside individuals or organizations.
Outstanding Alumnus/a
This recognition may be awarded to an alumnus/a who by his/her personal achievement has brought honor and distinction to the University through a distinguished record of career achievement and/or humanitarian endeavors dedicated to human welfare and social reform.
Outstanding Young Alumnus/a
This recognition honors an alumnus/a of the last ten years who has brought honor and distinction to the University through career achievement and/or a commitment to human welfare and social reform.
Service to Alma Mater
The Service to Alma Mater Award recognizes alumni who have demonstrated excellence in their field of service and have made outstanding contributions to the life and welfare of California Lutheran University.
The Hall of Fame
The purpose of the CLU Athletic Hall of Fame is to honor, preserve and perpetuate the names and accomplishments of outstanding CLU athletes, coaches, athletics administrators and other contributors to athletics who have been outstanding in performance at CLU.
