The Real Reason: Chiapas

In September when Susana, a Mexican woman with whom I work, asked me if I wanted to go to Chiapas for a week in December, there was no hesitation in my response. Of course I want to go, I replied! I'm only in Mexico for 11 months and any opportunity to see more of Mexico is a must. From the time I said yes, until we got onto the bus and actually left for Chiapas, I wasn't sure what we were actually going to be doing. But this journey to Chiapas that started with saying yes to something unknown turned into one intense and rewarding trip. Read more about Alli's experiences volunteering in Mexico...
