Wear your purple!
Loop Da Lu - 5K Run
Go for the gold, set a new personal best or just enjoy a leisurely stroll through campus with fellow alumni, family, and friends during our first annual Loop da Lu 5K. Not only will you have fun, if you're the runner who shows the most Cal Lutheran pride, you'll win a special prize! So be sure to wear your purple and gold and show your Cal Lu spirit!
You may run or walk the course. As an official adult participant you'll receive Cal Lutheran 5K race Nike Dri Fit t-shirt. The race will go on rain or shine—which means no rain checks or refunds on entry fees.
Those future Kingsmen or Regals in your family (10 and younger) who would like to be part of the event can join in the fun for free. (No t-shirts for the kids, sorry!)
Entry Fees
- $20 Early Bird Special - if you register online by Oct. 1 (This includes a Cal Lutheran race Nike Dri Fit t-shirt)
- $25 Regular Registration – if you register online between Oct. 2 and Oct. 17 at 5pm (t-shirt not guaranteed)
- $30 – walkups on race day - CASH/CHECK ONLY (t-shirt not guaranteed)
- Student Rate - FREE for the first 40 CLU undergraduate students
- Children under 10 – FREE (no t-shirt will be given)

Online registration for the 5K will close on October 17, 2012, but race day walk-ups are also welcome.
Check-In
You can check in starting at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the race at our registration booth in University Plaza (between Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center and Rolland Stadium). Race kits can also be picked up early in the Gilbert Fitness Center Lobby from 12-4:30 on Friday, Oct. 19.
The race begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp—starts in University Plaza and ends in Rolland Stadium. (Friends and family are welcome to sit in the stands and cheer on runners as they cross the finish line!) First place male & female runner will receive a $100 Gift Certificate to Sport Chalet! Most Spirited runner will receive a Bookstore Gift Certificate to stock up on CLU gear!
Volunteer
If running or walking a 5K just isn't your thing, but you still want to be part of the event, plan to lend a hand as a volunteer. We could use your help at water stations, the finish line and along the course for course marshal positions. And, as a volunteer, you'll receive a free Cal Lutheran Volunteer t-shirt!

Baby Strollers/Pets
Baby Strollers are most welcome, but we can't have canine participants due to insurance liability issues. (That means NO dogs, please!)
