Parent Volunteer Network
Volunteerism and service to the community are central components of the education your student receives at CLU, and as such, we invite you to also consider making them a part of your own CLU experience.
The Parent Volunteer Network (PVN) is comprised of parents who are interested in staying informed about the many volunteer opportunities available to CLU parents, for CLU parents. Parent volunteer opportunities will initially be communicated to the PVN via email. Follow-up phone calls will only be made to those who have agreed to take part. There is no obligation to participate.
Below is a list of parent-to-parent volunteer opportunities that are regularly available to CLU parents. The PVN will be notified of additional opportunities as they arise. Using the form below, please indicate which opportunities you are particularly interested in.
The Parent Connection
Share pictures, stories, tips and perspectives with other parents through The Parent Connection, CLU's monthly e-newsletter devoted to the parent experience.
Admitted and Deposited Parent Calling Campaigns - April and May, 2008
The college admission process can be a confusing time for students and their families. As such, CLU offers its support in the form of phone calls to parents of admitted and deposited parents. Newly admitted parents receive calls of welcome and support from those best qualified to answer questions about the parent experience — current CLU parents.
Parents' Circle
Parents' Circle members are parents of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who serve as a resource for prospective parents that have questions about CLU. As a Parents' Circle member, your name and contact information will appear in a booklet distributed to parents through the admission process.
New Student & Parent Orientation - August 30, 2008
