Our 50th reunion is about a 15 months away. Thanks to those of you who took time to complete the questionnaire. The planning committee has used the results and suggestions from the replies in our planning process. Plans are moving along. We don’t have an exact date yet, as that depends on the football schedule; however it will be in October of 2014. We are having another planning meeting on June 29. If you have questions or more ideas, please contact me or one of the other members of the committee (Don DeMars, Ruthanne Croom England, Lynda Benton Elmendorf, Bill Ewing, Norm Knoll, Karsten and Kirsten Bodding Lundring, Marty Ronning Schwalm, Carole Smith Scott, Bryan Spafford).
Karsten Lundring had a full page article in the latest issue of the Thrivent Magazine. It tells about his 50 years of fun working for Thrivent. Larry Hockenberry and his wife Bridget been “retired” for a few years but both work part time. They live near Oakdale, CA. They are looking forward to the reunion and he says it would be great to have all of us “Pioneers” there!
