Last July, Jacquelynne Fontaine was named Miss California and earned the right to compete in the 2007 Miss America Pageant which was held in Las Vegas in January. There, she won the talent portion of the competition during three days of preliminaries and was one of the top 10 semifinalists the night of the pageant.Psychedelia

The story of the birth of Christ has a protagonist that makes all stories of motherhood pale by comparison – the faithful and seemingly fearless servant of God, Mary. Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox traditions all have images of this young Jewish woman who was declared by the archangel Gabriel to be “highly favored” in God's sight.
