The story of the birth of Christ has a protagonist that makes all stories of motherhood pale by comparison – the faithful and seemingly fearless servant of God, Mary. Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox traditions all have images of this young Jewish woman who was declared by the archangel Gabriel to be “highly favored” in God's sight.

"World War II Activist Per Anger, Elizabeth Skoglund

Biographer Elizabeth Skoglund will share the story of Per Anger, fellow World War II activist of Raoul Wallenberg and Swedish Ambassador to Canada. Despite not sharing Wallenberg’s high profile, Anger was an important participant in saving tens of thousands of Jews during the Holocaust. Hear his amazing story and see never-before-seen photos from his personal collection.
