CLU Multimedia Exhibition
Humanities Galleria
Project 24 is an exhibition by last semester's advanced multimedia students. Creative Concepts is an exhibition by the intermediate multimedia students.
Realist painter Michael Lynn Adams will present a collection of 20 still life, genre and landscapes inspired by Southern California light and the beauty of Paris and Provence. An artist's reception will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m.

Artists and Speakers Fall Lecture
Mark Plotkin, a renowned ethnobotanist and co-author of several critically acclaimed books on Shamanic healing, will discuss his firsthand knowledge of the healing potential harbored by the Amazon rainforests.
In this unique forum, Kru Nam and David Batstone, President of Not For Sale, will discuss the issue of statelessness in Northern Thailand and their incredible journey fighting for the rights of street children together. The personal testimony of Kru Nam and her work on the frontlines offer an insight into the realities of modern-day slavery.

Founders Day is a festive event that gives thanks for CLU’s heritage and accents its primary mission of educating leaders for a global society. Keynote speaker is the Rev. Richard A. Nelson ’75, senior pastor of Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and chair of the board of directors of Lutheran World Relief.
The University Symphony will perform works by Handel, Grieg and Picker.
