Sixth Annual New Music Concert: Postmodern L.A.

All great music reflects the time and place of its creation. There are many examples of great musical centers, such as 18th century Vienna, 19th century Paris and 20th century New York. This concert will showcase works from composers living and working in the Los Angeles region, one of the great musical cities of the 21st century.

Music by Vera Ivanova, Jason Barabba, Joseph Trapanese, Alex Miller and Jenni Brandon.

The concert will begin with a composer roundtable discussion about music in 21st century Los Angeles.
