Event Description
Service Day is a campus-wide event that happens once every semester. Service Day is set aside so that students, faculty, and administrators can take time out to give back to the community surrounding CLU, and put the University's mission into action. We intend to foster a sense of civic responsibility and self pride among participants.
A wide variety of projects is available including family-friendly projects for alumni, faculty and staff that may want to include their families. There is a project for every skill level and interest. Past projects have included beach clean-up, Habitat for Humanity builds, Bingo with residents of T.O. Healthcare Center, campus beautification projects, working with residents at United Cerebral Palsy and much more.
Sign-ups are posted in the Student Union Building (SUB) beginning the week before the event. The event is free, and participants get a famous free t-shirt!
