Before and After Bach: The Art of the Harpsichord

Eric Kinsley will perform music by Rameau, Couperin, Bach, Haydn,
Hans Werner Henze and Gian Andrea Tabacchi along with his own
compositions. An adjunct faculty member in the CLU Music Department,
Kinsley is a performing artist, writer and educator. He performed and
recorded at the Discoteca Di Stato in Rome and has broadcast on public
radio and television.
He has worked with and performed premieres
of the music of John Cage, Milton Babbit, Morton Feldman, Steve Reich,
Miguel del Aguilla, Andrea Tabacchi and Steven Mosko. Kinsley earned
his doctorate at the Manhattan School of Music in New York under the
monitorship of Kenneth Cooper and recently completed a book to be
published by Edwin Mellen Press, London and New York.
