We will spend eight days with the Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders working on homes in East Texas hit by Hurricane Ike in 2008. While it was the third most damaging hurricane to strike the U.S., very few of us know of the damage caused by Ike's surge. In Bridge City, a two-hour drive east of Galveston, nearly every one of the 3,500 homes "took on water."
