Psychcollagic - Art by Barry Burns

Psychcollagic - Art by Barry Burns

This special collection of new paintings by art instructor Barry Burns is part of an ongoing series of exhibits showcasing the work of CLU faculty. The one-man show includes 18 recent abstract paintings, which use extreme texture on sculpted surfaces. Tailored collage elements work with those surfaces to make original, expressive and imaginative statements.

An opening reception will be held Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.

Admission is free. The Kwan Fong Gallery, located in Soiland Humanities Center, is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Street parking is by permit only Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitor parking is available in the parking lots on Mountclef Boulevard north and south of Olsen Road.
