The Authenticity of the Historical Jesus of Nazareth

Author David Fitzgerald offers his insight into the "history of the history" of Jesus of Nazareth, and discusses the lack of evidence surrounding the person of Jesus. The event is sponsored by the Secular Student Alliance at California Lutheran University and is open to the public. The CLU-SSA is a club for non-religious students at CLU which promotes inquiry into faith and is tasked with breaking the stigmas surrounding non-religious individuals. Our group is designed to explore faith through discussion and experience, and is one of the most active clubs on campus. The purpose of this talk is to begin an academic dialogue on campus. We ask that you keep an open mind, and remember that CLU is a place for exploration of both faith and reason.
