Five classic films that were shot in the Conejo Valley will be screened throughout the day and evening, and local experts will provide historical context and answer questions.
10 a.m. - Dr. Dolittle (1967). The animals came from Jungleland, which was located on Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
1 p.m. - The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938). How Lake Sherwood got its name.
4 p.m. - Wuthering Heights (1939). Lawrence Olivier in the Yorkshire moors behind CLU.
7 p.m. - Spartacus (1960). Tony Curtis, Kirk Douglas and Charles Laughton contest ancient Rome a la the Conejo.
10:30 p.m. - Sleeper (1973). Woody Allen at his best: just plain silly, funny and great for students.
Admission is $10; $7.50 for students and seniors; $5 for children. An all-day pass is $20 for one person, $25 for one family.
