Cultural Psychology Symposium 2013

Students from the Cultural Psychology 317 Seminar will be presenting their term projects on the topic of meaning-making through culture, in a here-and-now context. This year's presentations are:

- "Music = Life: How We Create Meaning to Music" (Cecily Coco & Pej Mehrassa)
- "Superstition and Its Role in the meaning Making of Tarot" (Marcie Rodden)
- "Meaning Making: Religious Objects and the Scholarly Voice" (Malina Keaton)
- "Making meaning of death: The semiotics of death and dying" (Natalie Archer & Melissa Hush)
- "What a Tangled Web We Weave: Creating meaning around the topic of Secrets" (Bree Watson)
- "Making Meaning of Social Norms and Rule Violations" (Marco A. Camargo)
- "Meaning-Making about the Cell Phone" (Lindsay LaRosa)
- "Music: An Individual's Personal Journey" (Jeff Jesalva & Kaylan Gutknecht)
