Want to learn some ways to get the most out of your study time? Do you feel like you always end up cramming at the last minute? This workshop will provide you with study tips including what behaviors to avoid, how to get organized and set goals, and which strategies might work best for you. |
Time Management |
Do you know how to manage your time, or do you always feels as if you are playing catch-up? How can you find the time to do all the things you need to do? Time management is about getting more value out of your time and using it to improve the quality of your life. This workshop will provide you with some simple but powerful keys that can help you manage you time better. |
Learning Styles |
Learning style can be defined as how students take in information, process it, and learn it. This workshop will provide tips on ways to study more productively. |
Procrastination |
Do you tend to put off your work until the last minute? You're not alone. Many students have an issue with procrastinating, which tends to create more stress and panic than needed. Join us to learn different strategies for avoiding procrastination and getting your work done on time. |
Academic Planning |
We will be discussing general academic planning information including policies, graduation and major requirements, and more. Learn how to construct your educational plan through WebAdvisor features. |
Test Taking & Anxiety |
Most students experience some level of anxiety during an exam. When anxiety begins to affect exam performance it starts to become a problem. Learning to prepare for exams and performing well on tests can be of great benefit to students’ academic success. Come learn effective tips on how to deal with tests and anxiety. |
Stress Management |
College life can be stressful at times. This workshop will explore many common sources of stress for students and how stress might be affecting you. Come join us to find out what you can do to make your stress levels more manageable so you can get more out of your college experience! |

Undeclared does not mean you have to be undecided. Through assessment tools and discussion, students will learn more about themselves and potential majors they should consider exploring. |
Pre-Finals Event |
With finals just around the corner, it’s important to take a minute to focus on yourself and to utilize your support systems. Join CAAR for food, fun and study tips to effectively prepare for your finals. Bring a friend and share your best study techniques with other students! |
