FOCUS is an interactive, web based career and education planning system designed to help students create an accurate picture of their interests, work values, personality, skills, and educational preferences. The FOCUS system guides students through a process that first broadens their career horizons by identifying and discovering how their personal qualities relate to occupations and then narrow down their options by interactively exploring and analyzing occupations. Students who use FOCUS develop an awareness of their career planning status and map out realistic goals.

FOCUS is one of the most widely used career planning systems in the USA according to a national survey of career counselors conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and is currently being used in over 1500 career services centers nationwide.
TIPS
1) Each time you use one of the 9 sections on the Main Menu a checkmark will appear next to that section on the Main Menu.
2) Your records are stored in FOCUS so that you can return to reuse FOCUS and pickup where you left off any time you wish.Careers you like are saved.
3) You can print your personal reports any time you wish and the reports are always available for reprinting.
