Samuel Thomas, Ph.D.
Associate Director, Center for Equality and Justice
Dr. Thomas is Assistant Professor of Religion and teaches courses on the the history of biblical interpretation, Judaism and Christianity, and Environmental Ethics. He is also a co-chair of the CLU Sustainability Council, has been active in Ventura County environmental justice organizations, and recently published an essay on the ethics of climate change in the Journal of Lutheran Ethics. Dr. Thomas also serves on the board of the Abundant Table Farm Project.
