The Student Program Coordinators for 2010-2011 are Christopher Cabrera and Sara Pressey.
Christopher Cabrera
Christopher is a first-year student from Los Angeles. He attended Saint Francis High School in La Canada, and is now majoring in Biology. He plans to become a Physician Assistant or a Paramedic Firefighter. He is passionate about helping people, and is excited to be part of the CEJ's effort to promote equality and justice.
Sara Pressey
Sara Pressey is currently a sophomore working toward a B.A. in Sociology and minors in both Psychology and Gender & Women’s Studies. She comes from Newbury Park, California, and focuses her energy on social justice issues with an emphasis on women’s rights, human trafficking and LGBTQIA rights.
In addition to being a full-time student, she serves as President of Feminism Is.., Vice President of the CLU chapter of Not For Sale, and Secretary of the Gay-Straight Alliance. Sara has also interned with the Feminist Majority Foundation in Los Angeles, and she is currently volunteering with the Not For Sale Campaign as a Young Ambassador for their project in Asia.
