World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day

Cal Lutheran's World AIDS Day commemoration will include a Positively Speaking panel and a vigil.

Positively Speaking panel from 2:15-4 p.m. in Swenson Center, Room 101. Local residents living with HIV/AIDS will share firsthand experiences. Doors open at 2 p.m. Seating is limited.

World AIDS Day Vigil from 4:15-4:45 p.m. on Swenson Center patio. A vigil is an act of commitment: to stand with others in loss, to stand against injustice and to stand connected in hope. Reflecting on what we have learned, seen and felt together over the course of this World AIDS Day observance, we gather in prayer and solidarity.

Admission is free. Community co-sponsors are the HIV/AIDS Coalition of Ventura County and Planned Parenthood of Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties.
