A man who spends all his time designing video games and neglecting his real life must save the girl he loves from the arch-villain that is his own creation.

Synopsis

A live-action/CGI hybrid. Rob spends all his time designing and coding a video game, hoping it will be successful enough to get him a better job. He is also infatuated with his current supervisor, Jill, who is hesitant to give him a chance because of his obsession with the game. But when Jill is pulled into the world that Rob has created, Rob must go after her and try to become the hero that he's always imagined.

Characters

ROB: Late twenties to early thirties. Reasonably attractive office drone, a lower- to middle-class underachiever. Is always thinking about the video game he is developing, hoping it will propel him to underachieving office worker to happy, successful game designer. Has an intense infatuation with his current supervisor, Jill, and has been trying to work up the courage to ask her out for years.

JILL: Late twenties to early thirties (in looks). An attractive and hardworking supervisor; assertive and adept at producing results. Is unsure what to think of Rob, liking him for his sweetness but hesitant to take things further because of how his deep investment in creating the game is starting to affect his real life.

STEVE: Late twenties to early thirties. Rob's best friend since high school, and a hardworking office employee trying to make his way to the top (while scoring a few cute girls along the way). Openly critical of Rob's obsession with the development of his game and slightly concerned at the harmful impact it is having on Rob's life.
