Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Uziel Colón, is a recent ensemble that began during the 2002-2003 academic year.
This group is devoted to learning basic approaches to jazz improvisation and, beyond that, improving the skill level of each student. The ensemble performs throughout the year in concert on campus as well as in small groups for various gigs.

Scholarships
Students of any major participating in a performance ensemble may be considered for a Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Scholarship—awarding up to $30,000—with an audition.
