Meet the Director
Janice Aharon-Ezer M.A., MFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She began working as Director of Community Counseling Services in February 2011. Janice received her B.S. in psychology from Colorado State University, her M.A. from University of Northern Colorado and was granted a certification in family therapy from the University of Denver's Family Therapy Training Center of Colorado.
Janice brings to our Community Counseling Centers a wealth of experience from her previous work in private practice, providing school-based therapeutic services and her affiliation with private and public agencies. Her specialties include work with adolescents, families, parenting, cross-cultural counseling, substance abuse, groups and adults.
As Director of our centers in Thousand Oaks and Oxnard, Janice's top priorities are to ensure that we are providing the highest quality of services to our clients in Ventura County and that our trainees and interns receive excellent practical experience during their time at our centers.
