Rodney A. Reynolds is Director of Educational Effectiveness and Institutional Research at California Lutheran University. He also serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) for Cal Lutheran.
As a student, he was active in Debate, Theatre, Poly Royal, Student Government, Water polo, and Swimming.
Dr. Reynolds is the Past-Editor for Communication Reports, an academic journal with an emphasis of data based research. Before coming to California Lutheran University, Rodney was a full-time faculty member at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo (Debate Coach), San Jose State University (Asst. and Associate Prof.), The University of Hawaii (Associate Prof. and Graduate Chair), Regent University (Prof. and Dept. Chair), Pepperdine University (Prof. and Graduate Chair) and Azusa Pacific University (Prof. and Exec. Dir. of Institutional Research).
Rodney was born and raised in and around Hanford, California.
Rodney and Lynn Reynolds now live in Agoura Hills, CA with their dog Schatzi.
Their son Brett lives in Ohio where he is a COO for a telecom corp.
Their son Bryan lives in Nevada where he is a CEO at a Casino.
Their daughter Mary Elizabeth "Beth" is a Speech Pathologist in North Carolina working with clients adjusting to Autism.

Ph.D. degree in Communication from Michigan State University
MA degree in Communication from Arizona State University with honors from the Communication Department. He was the Debate Assistant at Arizona State.
BA degree in Speech Communication from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with honors from both the Speech Communication Department and from the student government (for service to the university).
