Veronica has over 15 years of Marketing Communications experience in the technology industry. Her professional background in the private sector included developing and implementing marketing programs in support of strategic partnerships between both small and large organizations. She has worked for BBDO, 3Com, GRC International, and KPMG Consulting.
As a Marketing Director for KPMG Consulting, Veronica was responsible for strategic marketing initiatives with over 40 external alliance organizations including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and Cisco Systems and served on the marketing leadership team during the re-branding of the consulting organization. She has provided consulting to entrepreneurs regarding brand position and strategic marketing plans.
Veronica earned her doctorate from Pepperdine University in Organizational Leadership, her MBA from San Jose State University and a B.S. degree in Business with a Marketing Concentration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Dr. Guerrero's research interests include women and leadership and entrepreneurial education. She has worked with Women’s Economic Venture in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to research the impact of their Self-Employment Training (SET) program and provide curriculum review for developments within their SET offerings.
