About

Jackson Sousa is a licensed marrage and family therapist, certified sex addiction therapist ( CSAT-S ), CATC-IV., CST. AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. His practice focuses on treating individuals, couples, and families for sexual addiction, other addictive disorders and sex therapy. He is the clinical director of Counseling Center for Sexual Health  in Westlake Village which provides treatment for sexual compulsivity, addiction and sexual health related issues. In addition to his private practice, Jackson teaches courses on psychopharmacology, sexuality and gender, and substance dependencies for the Graduate Psychology Department.

Education

Jackson Sousa received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and obtained a masters degree from the University of Santa Monica where he was honored as Student of the Year. He holds a California Alcohol and Drug Educator license and is a certified sex addiction therapist ( CSAT), certified sex addiction therapist supervisor (CSAT-S), CATC-IV., CST., AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. and is a Certified EMDR Therapist. He attended the graduate school of social work at UMICH for his AASECT certicate in sexual health.
