Grants & Scholarships
A grant is gift aid that is awarded based simply on need. It is also generally the very last kind of aid awarded in a typical financial aid package.

| Cal Grant A & B | up to $8,322 | A California Grant, based on family income, asset and GPA, is available to eligible ADEP students. A minimum of eight units per term is required for a full grant. A FAFSA form and GPA verification form must be filed by March 2. |
| Pell Grant | up to $4,050 | Under this federal grant program, eligibility is based on the information you submit on the FAFSA form. |
| ADEP Grant | up to $400 per term | Students registered for 6 to 8 units per term may qualify for the ADEP grant. A FAFSA must be filed. Grants are based on need. |
| ADEP Academic Scholarship | up to $2,000 | Six nonrenewable academic sholarships may be awarded each year to new degree-candidate students in the Adult Degree Evening Program who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. Competitors must have a minimum transfer GPA of 3.0 with at least 30 transfer credits. This competition is for first-time ADEP students only. |
