Your Award Letter

The U.S. Department of Education will process all FAFSAs and determine each student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is an index that gives the Financial Aid Office an idea of the relative financial strength of the student’s family.

CLU will create an award of financial assistance based on a number of factors such as the student’s academic profile at time of admission, Cost of Attendance, and Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA.

The Financial Aid Office will send notification to the student’s CLU email account that the Financial Aid Award is ready to view. The email will direct the student to WebAdvisor where he or she will be able to Accept or Reject the different types of Financial Aid being offered. It is important that the student reads through the award carefully and follows all instructions.
