Assistantships
Resident Assistantships
Resident Assistantships are salaried positions for upper class students. Selection is made through the Residence Life Office. Students who are Resident Assistants cannot be Departmental Assistants or have another on-campus job through Federal or College Work-Study.
Departmental Assistantships
Departmental Assistantships are awarded each year to students of high academic standing in their major fields of study. Application should be made to the appropriate department chairs. Each assistantship carries a stipend to be determined at the beginning of each academic year that is awarded as part of the Financial Aid Award. Students who are Departmental Assistants cannot be Resident Assistants or have another on-campus job through Federal or College Work-Study.
