Grants

A grant is gift aid resource that does not need to be repaid. Eligibility for grants is usually based on need as demonstrated by the FAFSA; however, some grant eligibility also considers academics and/or degree program.

Federal Pell Grant

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Eligibility is based on exceptional Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA. To learn more about FSEOG, please visit http://studentaid.ed.gov

Cal Grant
This state grant is for California residents only. The amount varies based on the institution the student attends and the grant he or she is awarded. To be considered, students must file their FAFSA and submit a completed GPA Verification Form no later than March 2. For more information on eligibility for the Cal Grant program and the GPA Verification Form process, please visit http://www.calgrants.org.

CLU Grant
Eligibility is based on Financial Need as determined by filing the FAFSA.

International Grants
International Grants are awarded to International Students based on demonstrated need calculated using the International Financial Aid Application. This application is only available to students who are applying for admission for the 2012-2013 academic year. If a student is awarded an International Grant, the amount remains the same for all years of attendance at CLU. The grant amount DOES NOT increase or decrease. For more information, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Access Grants
Access Grants are awarded to AB540 students as part of the admission process. There is no application necessary. There are limited grants available. If awarded a grant, the amount remains the same for all years of attendance at CLU. The grant amount DOES NOT increase or decrease. For more information, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
