These scholarships start at $17,000 and range up to full tuition and are renewable for up to four years provided the student maintains Satisfactory Academic Progress. Students must meet the Early Action Application Deadline (November 1st) to be considered for the Presidential Scholarships.
CLU Guarantee Scholarship
CLU offers freshmen and transfer students who are also admitted to UCLA, UCSB, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, or UCSD a renewable scholarship based on the Cost of Attendance (COA) at CLU and these public institutions. The scholarships make the cost of attending CLU approximately the same as the cost of attending one of these five University of California schools.
To receive the CLU Guarantee Scholarship in subsequent years, the student must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. The scholarships awarded through this program will replace any academic scholarship the student received at the time of admission.
