Loan Counseling

The U.S. Department of Education requires students who borrow the Federal Stafford and/or Perkins Loans to complete both entrance and exit loan counseling. Each program has a separate counseling session with information specific to each program. Please see the information below and follow the link for the application loan program.

Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling

Under the Federal Family Education Loan Program first time borrowers are required to complete counseling before the University can process student loans. Perkins Loan Exit Counseling

Borrowers are required to complete exit counseling before graduating or otherwise leaving school. Perkins Loan Exit Counseling may not be completed online. Sessions are generally held at the end of each semester. If you miss a session, you can contact Michele Starr at x3518 to set up an individual appointment.
