Basic FunctionThe Master of Public Policy and Administration Program at California Lutheran University is seeking applicants for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level to teach graduate courses in the MPPA Program beginning in Fall, 2013. Responsibilities include: teaching public policy and management courses at the graduate level, advising graduate students, maintaining an active level of scholarship, and providing service to the university.
Education and ExperienceThe successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Evidence of excellence in teaching and the potential for developing an active research agenda are required. Ability to teach courses in public policy and research methods is required. The ability to contribute to program offerings in nonprofit management and administrative law is desired.
