Hiring Range: $62,154 - $90,000Representative Duties
• Manage the Media Services Coordinator and the Audio/Video Engineer.• Jointly hire and manage the student workers for Media Services and CLUtv.
• Design, purchase, install and maintain all audio-visual equipment on campus for new and old buildings and the Oxnard and Woodland Hills Centers. Currently approximately 152 locations (classrooms, conference rooms, computer labs, distance learning sites, and large venue sites).
• Support Extron classroom control systems.
• Identify and negotiate with vendors on all A/V related purchases.
• Manage Media Services budget.
• Produce all streaming video events on campus.
• Coordinate with Event Services on A/V services for large scale special events on and off campus, i.e., Corporate Leader’s Breakfast, Graduation, Board of Regents, New Student Orientation, Admitted Students Day, etc.
• Manage CLUtv and coordinate CLUtube with Creative Media.
• Work with architects, mechanical engineers, and the facilities department in designing a/v installations for new construction.
• Manage lighting systems for events in the Forum and Gilbert arena.
• Manage sound for all campus events.
• Research, identify and recommend new technology for staff and faculty.
• Teach training classes to the faculty in new technology, i.e., clickers, Extron systems, FlipCams.
• Produce video projects for the marketing departments and high profile events at CLU, i.e., Graduate School of Education marketing video, Graduate School of Psychology marketing video and the CLU 50th anniversary video.
• Maintain and update campus television studio and edit rooms.
• Attend and present at A/V related conferences and trade shows to stay current in technology.
• Maintain advanced skills in software including: Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere, M peg stream clip, Motion, DVD studio pro, Contribute, iLife, Microsoft Office, Photoshop.
• Work with local cable company to trouble shoot and repair all cable issues on campus. Work with Dish network to trouble shoot and repair all cable in remote sites.
• Maintain Remote Broadcast Truck.

Advanced knowledge of classroom operating systems using Extron global configurator
Advanced knowledge of sound, lighting systems and multi camera broadcast systems.
Supervisory skills, planning and budgeting, record keeping and reporting, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to problem solve, meet deadlines and resolve personnel conflicts.
Education and Experience
Masters in Educational Technology, Instructional Systems, Curriculum and Instruction, or other related fieldPh.D. in audio visual technology, Ed.D. in instructional systems technology
