Global Nomads

. . .otherwise known as TCK - Third Culture Kids - these are students who hold passports from one country, but have spent most of their lives in another country (countries) and come back to the passport country for education. They may have special challenges while acclimating to life at CLU or in the US!
Your passport might say United States of America, but you haven't ever gone to school in the U.S.
Or you might have a Norwegian passport, but you lived in South America. Or you were born in Iraq, but lived in Saudi Arabia.
Whatever the combination, you are probably really good at languages, adaptability, and you have a broader world view. Some Global Nomads have a hard time fitting in. They might feel 'lost' and it's a challenge to figure out where to belong or how to relate to people in your passport country.
Stay tuned for more information about a support group for these individuals.
